One of the mountains of Batangas, Gulugod Baboy is located in the townof Anilao Batangas, famous for its beach resorts and dive sites. Inenglish, Gulugod Baboy directly translates to "Pig Spine". So calledperhaps because of is contour? The hike is pleasant commandingspectacular 360˚ view of Anilao, Batangas Pier, Maricaban Island, Mt.Maculot, even Mindoro, Mt. Lobo and Mt. Manabo.

Just seen this blog 4 yrs after. I am from the barangay you passed way through Gulugud Baboy. It's very true that if you are from that place you never go to the nooks and crannies there, though i've also been thru lots of places, islands, etc.
I would like to correct the usual belief that GB is in Anilao. No, it is not. Anilao is a Brgy of Mabini, Batangas. GB is in Brgy Laurel, Mabini, Batangas. I hope many will see this correction and use it correctly next time. Thanks.
Batangas has so many wonderfull view. you should try mataas na kahoy or
padre garcia in batangas.
